Towards Levitation

Hidden in the shadows are many thoughts.
Shielded secrets, hidden, closed.
Longing in my meditations to reach the noughts
These secrets surface, opened, exposed.

Like the child yearning to be heard
Or the thunder dying to explode
The noise grows stronger and much feared
Till I from my meditation erode

I close again my wandering eyes,
To a calm meadow with green grass.
And no matter how much to suppress one tries,
Monsters big and boisterous soon trespass.

Till last to these monsters I concede.
Knowing someday, them I shall defeat.
Someday to noughts my mind shall lead.
When I shall know no more of my newly attained feat.
